Rossmoyne becomes an Independent Public School

It has been announced by the Director General for Education in Western Australia that Rossmoyne Senior High School has been granted Independent Public School status. The school has been working tirelessly toward this outcome and the school community is delighted to receive this acknowledgement.

As an Independent Public School, Rossmoyne will have greater control of its own affairs and the expectation is that Rossmoyne can take advantage of this new found flexibility to build on the wonderful reputation the school has currently in Australia and internationally.

The School Council has fully endorsed this direction and is looking forward to the challenge ahead of maintaining and assisting the shaping of Rossmoyne as a school of excellence with a broad range of offerings for future Rossmoyne students.

This is indeed a historic moment in time for our school and together, parents, staff, students and the greater community we can surpass the already celebrated history of Rossmoyne SHS.
