Technology and Enterprise - Home Economics
Home Economics is an exciting and innovative subject area that constantly responds to new initiatives and trends in the community and workplace by offering subjects that give students valuable skills for life and future employment or study.
Home Economics has a unique place in the school curriculum in that it focuses on the well-being of individuals and families in everyday activities. In all cultural contexts, people need to have food, textiles, and shelter as well as satisfactory ways of meeting social, creative, emotional, physical, financial and intellectual aspects of well-being.
Our programs offer a wide range of opportunities for students to develop social and teamwork skills through practical activities.
Our staff are committed and experienced and continually strive to develop skills to improve learning experiences in classroom activities.
Home Economics has something for everyone!
