SOFT TOY CREATORS
This term, our Year 7 students began an exciting journey to research and create their own stuffed soft toys! With a vibrant blend of creativity and craftsmanship, each student brought their unique vision to life.
Students used soft and snuggly polar fleece, ensuring their toys were perfect for comfort. Emphasising hand craftsmanship, students applied a variety of hand-stitching techniques. Each toy was beautifully finished with a blanket stitch around the body, while they showcased their skills by incorporating at least two additional stitching methods. Many opted for classic running and back stitches, while a few adventurous creators included more intricate techniques like satin, daisy, and French knots!
From whimsical animals to fantastical creatures, each toy reflected the personality of its creator.
