THE BUILD HAS BEGUN

🏗👷‍♀️🎉 After many years and a great deal of effort from our Rossmoyne Senior High School community, yesterday saw the ‘turning of the sod’ for our new building program. It was particularly fitting that a group of our esteemed 30year+ teachers (staff who have worked at Rossmoyne for over 30 years!) gathered with a beautifully gilded shovel to start the digging. A fence has now been placed around the school oval near Karel Ave.
The works includes new HASS classrooms and HUB (Library), additional Science labs, and an upgrade to the HPE office and changerooms. As is the case on any school site, building works test the patience, resilience, adaptability and wellbeing of students and staff. There will be some disturbance and discomfort during the building process, however, we will continue to work together as a school community to minimise disruption to teaching and learning. We have been able to prepare for this moment for some time and many initiatives are now in place to ensure our students can continue to learn, and have access to, all the amazing opportunities that Rossmoyne has to offer.
Stay tuned. We will keep you updated on the exciting progress!
