2016 Italian Music Tour Farewell Concerts
This morning, music students were busy rehearsing for their last performances before they embark on their journey to Italy. On Sunday 3 April, students will perform to an audience of family members and give them a taste of the performances that will take place during their visit to Italy. When on tour, the itinerary includes visits to Rome, Assisi, Montecatini, and Venice with lots of excursions planned to historical landmarks along the way. The students will perform a piece entitled “Lost Lakes” that has been commissioned especially for the 2016 Italian music tour. The piece was composed by Western Australian composer, performer and music educator, Duncan Gardiner. We would like to wish all the students, teachers and family members all the best as they embark on this exhilarating journey together.
