INTERACT CLUB – WHEELCHAIRS 4 KIDS

Our school Interact Club recently raised funds for Wheelchairs for Kids through its first Easter Raffle and Bake Sale. They raised $275, enough to provide one child with an adjustable, all terrain, cushioned wheelchair along with an upper body harness, foot restraints, postural support, detachable trays, carry basket, soft toy and a knee rug! Rotary Canning River member Barry, who is involved with Wheelchairs for Kids, came in to talk to the Interactors about how the charity started and how it provides freedom and mobility to children across the world.
