Dear Parents and Carers,

On behalf of all staff, I look forward to welcoming our students, and all the excitement of day 1, when our school opens on Monday 8 February.
The five-day lockdown for Perth, Peel and the South West ended at 6pm, Friday 5 February, however some COVID-safe measures will continue until 12:01am, 14 February.

Click here to find specific information on what our school will look like for our first week of the year. The advice I am providing is the most up to date at this point in time. I will provide further advice, should there be additional information that impacts on our students and the start of their school year. Up to date information can be found through Healthy WA and Department of Education..

I want to assure you that the safety and wellbeing of our students and staff is our top priority and we will continue to follow the latest WA Health advice.
Thank you to all students and parents for your understanding and support during the lockdown.
If you have any further questions, please contact the school on 9235 1600.

The COVID-19 situation can change rapidly.
Get the latest advice from wa.gov.au.
As you are no doubt aware, the Perth metropolitan area has entered a five-day lockdown; from 6pm this evening Sunday 31 January until 6pm Friday 5 February. The advice provided by the Premier today is that schools are closed until February 7; this postpones our start date by one week. We will provide updates via SEQTA and Facebook as more information from the Department of Education becomes available.
For parents and students who were part of our school community in 2020, you will know that we are able to adapt and adjust our learning programs through SEQTA to maintain continuity of learning. For all families, our staff care deeply about our students and as they did through the challenges of COVID-19 last year, I have utmost confidence they will continue to go above and beyond to support them academically, socially and emotionally in 2021.
At this point in time, the information provided from the Government has indicated that students are to remain on school holidays, with school recommencing on Monday 8 February. While this is not the ideal start to the school year, our priority is for our community to stay healthy and safe.
Please follow the Government’s instructions to be tested, if required, and follow all lockdown requirements.
Please take care and I look forward to seeing you all soon.
