Matching students’ learning needs

At Rossmoyne Senior High School, the Heads of Learning Areas (HOLAs) monitor student progress and plan either extension or extra support for individual students. The HOLA’s efforts are supported by the Program Coordinators of each Year Group who work with students at educational risk, ensuring they receive emotional and/or academic support as needed.

The large cohort numbers at Rossmoyne Senior High School allow each Learning Area to group students into classes based on individual learning needs.

With constant attention paid to student progress, students end up in the best class for them – and the school’s result speak for themselves. Rossmoyne’s extension and support systems combines with school culture (especially among students) encourages every individual to strive for their best in everything they do.
