Friday 23 November 2018 Excellence – Colour Run This event is aimed to bring students together in a social and fun event to celebrate the iCARE value of excellence and end the week.
During the September school holidays a group of students travelled to Nice and Lyon in France. Students enjoyed the country, culture, and people; practicing their French language and sharing with their exchange families. Sunday 21 October 2018, 5:00pm The Year 12 Valedictory is a formal event involving the acknowledgment of outstanding student achievements, speeches by dignitaries and performances by our talented Performing Arts students. Dressed in academic regalia and valedictorian sash, each student will cross the dais and be recognised for their commitment to secondary schooling. Rossmoyne SHS is now officially a member of the PASCH Initiative! We signed the official memorandum of understanding between Rossmoyne and the Goethe Institut, who will be working closely with us to further promote and support the teaching and learning of German here at Rossmoyne. For our students, this will provide access to additional competitions, resources and opportunities to travel to Germany, to participate in intensive language and culture studies. Sarah was selected to represent Western Australia in the 2018 Hockey 16's Team. Sarah will travel to the Gold Coast in August for the competition. Sarah also recently returned from competing in the Australian Volleyball team for the Asian Championships held in Thailand. Sarah clearly demonstrates our iCARE value of 'Excellence' with these sporting achievements.
