🏵🧡 HARMONY WEEK WRAP UP 🏵🧡With over 65 nationalities learning and working on our school campus daily, today students and staff celebrated our cultural diversity with many wearing their traditional cultural dress to school. Throughout Harmony Week at Rossmoyne, students have been invited to share their family stories 📖We were fortunate several of our families shared their stories in a short video produced by Rossmoyne students and staff, called 'Making a New Home: Experiences with Immigration'. 🎧📽 SCREENING OF THE BEST 2022 ATAR FILMS🎬 Year 11 and Year 12 Media Production and Analysis (MPA) ATAR students recently attended the annual 2023 Media Perspectives film event hosted by ATOM WA. The event showcases the best selection of copyright films produced by the Class of 2022 for their MPA ATAR submissions.🌟🌟On the evening, the crowd-pleasing mockumentary, "The Great Lie" produced by a Rossmoyne Year 12 ATAR student was celebrated by media teacher Costas Kastanis and Rossy students.👏👏On the judging panel was Rossmoyne Media teacher, Annette McCubbin who was impressed with the calibre of the short films and has high hopes for this year's talented Rossmoyne students. ... 🧡🧡HARMONY WEEK HAPPINESS!🧡🧡This week is a special week at Rossmoyne as we celebrate the diversity and cultural richness of our school. 🫶 The message for harmony week is 'everyone belongs' and we are very proud to have such a strong culture of inclusiveness, respect and belonging at our school. 🥳🧡Our wonderful Languages team have been busy asking students in language classes to come and place a dot on a 🌏map of the world to indicate where they feel most culturally associated with. A 3D effect is being created in places with lots of dots and a profile is being made of Rossmoyne students and where they come from. 🫶 Today we also enjoyed a cultural music mix 🎹from some of our talented students in the amphitheatre.
