URBAN PROCESSES FIELD TRIP
Year 12 ATAR Geography students visited the Perth CBD, Northbridge and East Perth as part of their studies on urban processes, functional zones and the challenges of transport and housing facing Perth.
Students conducted fieldwork and gained valuable insights from guest speakers Dale Sanderson, Planning Director at the Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, and Richard Curtis and Jack Regan, Urban Planners at the City of Perth, enhancing their understanding of real-world urban planning in Perth.
The field trip allowed students to connect classroom learning with real-world examples and see first-hand how Perth is changing and developing.
