2025 John Locke Global Essay Competition

Year 10 student Mehela R was recently invited to London for an exclusive academic conference and awards dinner hosted by The John Locke Institute.
Mehela earned this honour after being shortlisted from over 63,000 entries in the 2025 John Locke Global Essay Competition — an incredible achievement! She competed in the Senior Politics category, writing on the topic of diversity, with essays judged by academics from top universities including Oxford and Princeton.
At the gala dinner, Mehela received a Certificate of Recognition, and spent three days connecting with talented young people from around the world.
Well done, Mehela — we are so proud!
