HEALTH STUDIES FSH VISIT

Our Year 11 and 12 Health Studies students went on an excursion to Fiona Stanley Hospital recently. They participated in the Prevent Alcohol and Risk-related Trauma in Youth (P.A.R.T.Y.) program, which educates students about the dangers of drink driving and reveals the harsh realities of its consequences. During the visit, students listened to presentations from doctors, nurses, and car crash survivors. They also toured the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and observed a reenactment in the Emergency Department. One of the highlights of the day was the wheelchair rehabilitation session, where students learned how to pop a wheelie!
