DEBATING AT ROSSMOYNE
Rossmoyne hosted the final round of the 2025 Fremantle Interschool Debating League.
With the theme “Oddballs,” the debates were lively and fun, bringing an incredible season to a close.
Our Year 10 team shone brightly, finishing undefeated and sharing the championship title with Ellenbrook SHS! This group has been unstoppable since Year 8, and while it’s bittersweet to see them graduate from competition, we can’t wait to have them back next year to mentor future debaters!
Kudos to our Year 8 team, who also secured victory after an impressive win against Fremantle College, arguing that “socks are secretly the most important invention in history.”
A special shoutout to Mehela R (Y10), who was named MVP for her dedication and stellar performance.
Thanks to everyone—staff and students alike—who made this competition possible, especially our Year 11 students, for their invaluable support. Congratulations to all for these outstanding results! Here’s to our champions and the exciting debates to come!
