YEAR 7 LIGHTNING CARNIVAL
Our Year 7 students faced challenging conditions but had a fantastic time at the recent lightning carnival. Some impressive achievements included our AFL team winning the B Grade flag. Our netball teams also had a great day, thanks to the dedication and passion of their coaches. The teams finished in 6th, 2nd, and 3rd places, respectively. Our soccer teams demonstrated excellent skills and teamwork throughout the day.
Our basketball teams stayed dry indoors and achieved impressive results. We had both boys’ and girls’ teams competing in divisions A and B. Our A Division teams ended the day as runners-up, competing against several specialist basketball schools, while our B Division teams came away as champions.
Overall, everyone had a wonderful day. Thank you to all the students and teachers who helped coach and umpire during the event.
