COMPASS EDUCATION
Department of Education (DOE) schools, like Rossmoyne Senior High School, have been using a School Information System (SIS) that is long past its used by date. As part of the replacement process (Project Kaartdijin), all DOE schools are transitioning to a new platform called COMPASS Education.
One of the biggest impacts of the changeover, is that the new platform is not compatible with SEQTA and as a result, Rossmoyne will cease to use SEQTA from 2026 onwards.
On Monday 24th November 2025 (Term 4, Week 7), Rossmoyne will start moving across to the new system so that students can be introduced to it, and be able to see their 2026 timetable when available, prior to the start of the 2026 school year.
During that week, Parents and Carers will receive via email their login details for the new portal (https://rossmoyneshs-wa.compass.education/).
Alternatively, there is an App called Compass School Manager available on both Android and iOS that parents can use.
Please click HERE for a full copy of the email, including
- what other changes will occur as a result of the transition to COMPASS (especially student absences), and
- what will remain the same for the remainder of 2025.

Please note that we are also learning this new system and do not have all the answers yet! Our goal is to have it fully functioning as intended by the start of 2026, and we look forward to embarking on this Compass journey with all of you!
