YEAR 8 LIGHTNING CARNIVAL
What a huge day of sport for our Year 8 students at the Lightning Carnivals! Despite the rainy weather, our students represented the school with pride, enthusiasm and outstanding sportsmanship across every competition. 
A massive congratulations to our Basketball teams, with all four teams making their respective Grand Finals!
The B Grade Boys were crowned champions after defeating Fremantle College, while the A Grade Girls claimed an exciting overtime victory against Rockingham in a thrilling final. An incredible achievement by all teams!
Our Year 8 Boys Soccer teams showed exceptional resilience, teamwork and character throughout a challenging day of competition. Despite some tough results and wet conditions, the boys continued to support one another, stay positive and compete with determination in every match. Their sportsmanship and effort were something to be truly proud of.
At the Girls Netball Carnival, spirits stayed high despite the rain, with all teams demonstrating fantastic enthusiasm, competitiveness and positivity on the court. The girls represented the school brilliantly and embraced every game with energy and encouragement.
Our AFL team may not have come away with the wins this time, but they should be incredibly proud of the way they played throughout the day. The team showed fantastic enthusiasm, persistence and sportsmanship in every match, never giving up and always supporting one another.A special thank you to our amazing Year 10 and 11 student coaches, who generously gave up their time to lead and support teams throughout the carnivals. Your leadership, encouragement and positivity helped make the day such a memorable and successful experience for everyone involved.
