WOK THE TALK
Our Year 9 and Year 10 students were fortunate to hear from Sarah Ann, a former Rossmoyne SHS student, and Hannah Waldon, a Perth Modern School graduate, who are both currently studying at UWA. Sarah and Hannah shared their experiences of studying languages and spending a semester studying in Asia, highlighting the many personal, academic and career opportunities that language learning can provide.
Supported by the Westpac Scholars Trust’s W100 Big Ideas Fund, the presentation featured interactive activities, inspiring stories and real-world insights that engaged students and demonstrated the value of continuing language studies beyond school.
