ANZAC DAY SERVICE

The Rossmoyne Senior High School community came together to honour and remember the courage, sacrifice and enduring spirit of the brave men and women who have served our nation, and those who made the ultimate sacrifice in defence of the freedoms we enjoy today.
A formal ANZAC Day Service was held in the gym for our Year 9 and Year 12 students, led with great respect by our Year 12 Student Councillors. The service was enhanced by outstanding performances from the Year 8 and Year 9 Choir and Wind Orchestra No. 1, whose contributions added great meaning and reflection to the occasion. 🎶
At the same time, all other students participated in classroom-based commemorations, beginning with a pre-recorded video service led by our Year 11 Student Councillors. Students then took part in a reflective activity, creating poppies to display in their classrooms as a symbol of remembrance.
We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to our Hospitality students for preparing a wonderful morning tea following the service.
Finally, we sincerely thank all our esteemed guests who joined us today as we paused together to reflect on the service, sacrifice and legacy of the ANZACs.
