BUILDING CHALLENGE
Our Year 8 students were geared up for an epic challenge in HASS class as they dove into the world of business types! Whether they were sole traders flying solo, dynamic duos in partnerships, or part of powerful corporations with a team of 5-6, there was an exciting task ahead!
Using their creativity and teamwork, they aimed to construct the tallest standing tower with the resources provided. Structures were measured from the base to the top, so every stick counted! Students had to register their company name with the teacher before they started building. Once they did, their supplies were ready to go! And remember, there was a 10% tax on the tower’s materials – so they had to build smart!
