KEEPING OUR COMMUNITY BEAUTIFUL

This week Bush Rangers partnered with the Friends of Gabbiljee and Clean up Australia to make a massive impact on our environment students split into two groups:
The first team headed down to Gabbiljee (more commonly known as Bull Creek) armed with gloves, trowels, and just under 200 Centella plants. With just over an hour, students, Mrs Corrick and Miss Hayes, got to work to plant all these plants to help prevent weeds from growing and soil erosion.
Meanwhile, the second group dawned the Clean-up Australia merch and tackled the area between the school and the creek. This team ended up with 2 large bags jam-packed with rubbish, particularly soft plastic rubbish. Every little bit of rubbish collected helps keep our school and local community beautiful.
What amazing work these eager students have done!
