MOON PHASES & OREOS
Year 7 Science classes have been learning about Space Science in Term 3. In Week 1 students revised over our 8 planets and were exposed to information about the Earth’s rotation and revolution around the Sun and what makes up a day and a year.
In Week 2 students were demonstrating their understanding of the Moon’s orbit around Earth and the 8 moon phases we see in the night sky.
The students had lots of fun and displayed school Capabilities of problem solving, creative thinking and communication along with iCARE values of Integrity and Connection in the Cafeteria area dissecting their Oreos to complete the Moon Phase worksheet in small groups.
