PROTEIN CHAINS

Year 9 Food Technology students learnt all about the functions and structure of protein by making their very own amino acid chain out of beads. The bracelets represent proteins such as actin for strength and haemoglobin the breath. Furthermore, students had an opportunity to demonstrate capabilities such as resilience and leadership, what a fun practical way to learn!
