REUNION ISLAND CULTURE
Reunion Island Culture at Rossmoyne! Our French students recently had the exciting opportunity to learn from Claire Laurent, a teacher and author from Réunion Island, as part of their studies of French language and culture.
Claire shared insights into the beauty and diversity of Réunionnaise music, dance, storytelling and the Créole language, helping students deepen their understanding of French culture beyond the classroom. Students especially enjoyed discovering the similarities between Créole and French, as well as learning about the island’s vibrant musical traditions. 
A big thank you to Claire Laurent and our dedicated French teachers for organising this wonderful cultural experience for our students!
