ROSSY STUDENTS PLANNING EXCELLENCE
At the 2024 WA Awards for Planning Excellence, hosted by the Planning Institute of Australia over the weekend, Year 10 students Shuen C and Ruth A were recognised for their sophisticated understanding of creating liveable higher density environments.
Shuen and Ruth researched industry standard practices on how to develop a vacant suburban block in a sustainable way that promotes the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals and applies the Australian Urban Design Protocols.
They each received a commendation in the Secondary Student Project award from The Hon John Carey, Minister for Planning.
